If you grow Chiles in your garden and then cover them up with a blanket of leaves, you will find that the chiles are not getting enough sunlight to recharge their energy. When it comes to growing your own organic pepper plants, you also need to make sure that you give them plenty of water and sunshine. As said, these types of pepper plants only thrive in sunny environments so make sure that you don’t block too much of the sun or you will find that they are not growing very well. Similarly, make sure that you are giving them regular watering. You will find that regular watering is essential for Chile plants as they are vines are creatures of water.

Chile peppers will produce berries, and these can sometimes be quite large. This means that when you are picking your chile plants from your garden you should be able to fit as much into one container as possible. You can cut up the seeds so that they are all the same size. However, if you are growing them for personal consumption, then you may like to leave them somewhat larger.

In terms of eating these Chile plants, they are quite popular in Latin cuisine. You can use them in soups, stews and chili recipes. They are best eaten raw though, so when you are preparing a dish that needs them, do not add the raw chile plant to it, instead use it in a more complimentary way, perhaps as an ingredient to a dish such as a mild salsa.
