Lithops are another great option when it comes to your indoor plant roster. These plants are small, so they won’t take up much space inside your home — a plus if you live in an apartment. Lithops like to get a lot of sunlight, so placing them next to the window that receives the most sunlight would be the ideal way of getting them to grow fast and healthy.
It’s important to remember that even the best things can be bad if used without moderation. Much like having too much vitamin D would kill you, a litho that gets too much sunlight will also perish.
If you live in a tropical environment, keep your lithops in an area that receives filtered, rather than raw, sunlight. Remember how we said that lithops love the warmth of sunlight? Actually, it might just be a disdain for low temperatures. Keeping your lithops in cold areas will lead to premature death as they are a plant built with warm habitats in mind.
