One of the first things that a gardener will have to decide about once they’ve chosen raspberries as their chosen plant is which type of raspberry they would like to include in their garden. Most novice gardeners might be surprised to find out that all raspberries are not created equal, and that there are many varieties out there – not all of which are red!

The most common type found in gardens and stores is usually the red raspberry that most people are familiar with, but there are also other types including the Asian raspberry and the blue raspberry. Some varieties even present with yellow berries during flowering time instead of red ones.
